Madre Museum
The Donnaregina museum of contemporary art also known as Madre, was created under the direction of renowned Portuguese architect Alvar Siza and is one of the most innovative museums on the international scene. A total space of 8,000 sq m is available in the museum buildings, of which 4,500 sq m is exhibition space on four floors. The museum also has a bookshop and cafeteria-restaurant.
Situated in the heart of the old city, the Madre museum ambitiously aims to give quality and visibility to the many significant experiences conducted in the field of contemporary art in Naples over the last decade.
